The food isn't the problem as much as the service is. The pork fried rice had a weird after taste to it, but that was the only thing I didn't like. The workers, which I think are also the owners, showed signs of racism, ignoring me and my dad as we wait for a table not even offering to sit us down. When a Caucasian couple walked in though they were extremely polite and seated them immediately while we still waited. After a while they seated us, but offered us nothing to drink. I haven't returned to eat there, but I've heard from friends that they are also very rude at the bar, and refused to sell them a pitcher of beer, which is plain stupid since they're losing potential profit.

Can I add less than one star??? This was not good. Ordered a lunch combination plate and the crunchy noodles were stale! I had to remove all of them to partly enjoy the rest of the meal. The waitress/owner said that "there are alot of people that don't like those noodles" but she didn't know why. The "fried rice" was not fried rice but basically off-colored white rice. And I only received 3 small fried shrimps with the meal which was $7.00. The potstickers were really good but the sauce was not. The waitress/owner was not pleasant with us, in fact we got the impression that they don't care for out-of-towners. She laughed with the regulars in the bar that were throwing 'F' bombs around very loudly but not friendly with us. To top it off, my husband visited the restroom before we left and said it was absolutely disgusting! Needless to say we will not be returning ever to this establishment and suggest that to others as well.

We've been on an extended work stay in Hood River and this has become our go to spot. The owners/servers are great! Very funny and eager to please. Serves a culturally rich and diverse ethnic crowd. While you can definitely get slightly better Chinese for quite a bit more money, you can't beat Ho Ho's bang for your buck.

I give this restaurant one star because the only thing they got right was the wait time. Ordered take out on a Friday night. I had the sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken, and general tso chicken all 3 orders looked, smelled, and tasted the same. The fried rice horrible. I had the fried shrimp as an appetizer the shrimp tasted like it looked, old and unpleasant. Worse Chinese food i have ever had.

This place is used more as a bar type setting. The lunch special is good and the food is okay. I enjoyed more than during any other time. It does have good selections of drinks, that are great. It has some video poker machines and a pool table.

Horrible, atrocious and unbearable are my first thoughts after dealing with the owners. This place needs to be bulldozed. Poor service. Poor food that was 'mushy' (see other review) and no appreciation of our existence. I decided to not tip to get my message to them our satisfaction levels were not met. Obviously the husband and wife are unhappy as they mope around the place struggling with any amount of work. The place is dirty, bathrooms are rank with urine smells. I wouldn't let my 5 year old touch anything. If your brave and desire a really bad plate of food the you've chosen the right place. Here's a tip, if the locals are warning you of a bad experience then imagine how someone from outta town gets treated. Personally the owners are incapable of turning this establishment into a viable local business and I warn anyone seriously considering this as a place to eat to reconsider, yes, it's that bad.
